Alpine Rock

Chamonix Granite – Chamonix has some of the best granite climbing in Europe, lots of sunshine and set in surroundings of beautiful glaciated peaks. Chamonix granite is the stuff of dreams. There are endless cracks, rough slabs and compact walls. Routes vary from 50m to 1000m and grades start from VS. You can shiver up the Walker Spur or bake on the south face of the Midi.

Bregaglia
– The Bregaglia is a spectacular range of granite peaks and towers which straddle the Swiss/Italian border. Its climbing is comparable to that of Chamonix but without the crowds. There are lots of four star classics such as the Cassin on Piz Badile, the South ridge on Piz Cengalo and valley objectives like Spazzacaldeira and Val de Mello.

Dolomites – This spectacular and complex area of peaks in North East Italy is a must for the limestone connoisseur. Routes tend to follow steep cracks and walls, with thought provoking exposure. Whether crimping on the Sellar Towers, shimmying up Piz di Ciavazes or chimneying on the Cima Grande, you’ll have a memorable adventure.

Picos de Europa
– A well kept secret in the North Eastern Asturias region of Spain famous for its smelly cheese, cider and water sculpted limestone mountains. The rock quality on faces such as Naranjo de Bulnes is impeccable and the routes are of equal quality. From two to twenty pitches, take your pick!
Sun Rock

U.S.A. – Home of Elvis, Mc Donalds and the best trad climbing in the world! Rock-n-road it round the States checking out venues like Red Rocks, Joshua Tree, Canyonlands, Yosemite and The Needles. Or seek out many other 4 star venues such as Paradise Forks or the Granite Mountains that most Brits have never heard of.

Random – There are many other places that Olly raves about. So share his enthusiasm, buy him an ice cream and check out these venues Corsica, Morocco, Sardinia; and don't forget the most exotic of all - some un-paralleled world class sea cliff climbing in Britain.
